Andy had taken a couple of days off work so we could all take our final trip together up the Great Ocean Road, Indi included this time.  Technically the following photo should appear later but gives an apt visual from the home page on the Blog.  We all bundled in the car early, no breakfast or caffeine fixes due until we hit Tourquay.

One of Tourquay's beaches, deserted, long and a beautiful stop to let Indi have a run.

Another Tourquay beach crammed with surfers waiting for the 'big one'.

Bells beach, famous for the end scene in the film Point Break and surprisingly empty of surf dudes and men in president masks.

Erskine falls near Lorne our bed down spot for the night.  Finding accommodation willing to take dogs, especially during the Easter break, had proved a challenge but leaving a man behind on this trip was not an option so Lorne it was.  Being a Sunday there was very little open so we settled for a takeaway, watched a film and had an early night.

The three amigos at Loch Ard Gorge, I was enjoying the temporary use of Jacqui's camera (complete with zoom) so we now have loads of photos with random close ups!

Indi enjoying a bit of window surfing and I think you can see the evidence of sand in that beard of hers, a very happy little dog.

At the Twelve Apostles although getting a sighting through the hoards of Korean tourists with their selfie sticks was tricky.

London Bridge and our final stop before heading back to Lorne.  Once again there was nothing open except takeaway options so we repeated the takeaway, film and early night theme.  Good job really as we all had to get up at 6.30am to vacate the apartment and drive Andy into Melbourne city for his day at work.

We also needed to sort our washing, pack the backpacks and get sorted for leaving early the next day.    Our time in Melbourne had come to an end, as had our budget so Matt and I had made the sensible decision to head back to Blighty earlier than planned and forego travelling through Indonesia.  It was a tough decision but weighing up the pros and cons we believed the right one.  Saying that we couldn't help adding on one more week's adventure in Bali before heading back to the real world ;)
